Carol Dwyer

Carol Dwyer, 83 of Johnstown, NY passed away peacefully at home on Thursday December 4,2025. Her greatest joy in life was the time spent with family; her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was what mattered most to her. She was retired from her family business, Dunham's Spring Shop as a bookkeeper. At home she enjoyed the holiday times, where she could prepare for a get together. Making popcorn balls or candy apples for the children. She had a love for music, enjoyed listening to 50's&60's music and had a fondness for the Bee Gee's. Carol also had a great love for the dogs she raised over the years. Spending time in the summer up at Caroga Lake at their camp hosting their yearly clam bakes. Later in life spending time reading outside at the pool, mostly mysteries novels. Carol was known for her friendly demeaner, as well as her welcoming smile that she had for most. If there was something she didn't like she let you know, also. Survived by her sons, Francis III "Tom" (Linda), Alan (Tami) and Keith, grandchildren, Francis IIII, "Tom", Ashley, Jeremy, Courtney, Meghan, Leo, and Kyle, as well as their eight great grandchildren and more on the way, sisters Patricia and Laurie. Pre-deceased by her parents Martin and Thelma Luck, husband Francis II "Sonny", daughters Carol and Sonya; all that she held with much grief for years after their passing, sisters, Marty, Janet, Bonnie, Kathy, and her brother "Dicky". We would like to thank the following for all the care, love, and support, Dr. Hassam and staff, the staff at Palmers Pharmacy, Mt. Valley Hospice of Gloversville; Carol's home health aides, Heidi, Margaret, Laurie, Roseann and Courtney; We could not have done it without all of you. THANK YOU.
