In loving memory of John A. Stumbrice Sr., peacefully passed in his home on April 28, 2018, at 6:15 p.m. In his younger years, he met his formerly passed wife, Susan L. Stumbrice. He then went on to be a military police officer. Then moved on to being a foreman for over 20 years. Upon retiring, he enjoyed staying home and watching the news, drinking his coffee and spending time with his five children, who he leaves behind, James A., Shawn J. (Desiree Hayes), Amanda L., John A. Jr., Darlene J. (Cassondra) Stumbrice; a sister-in-law, Diane Caska; brother, Ed Shiedel; and 10 grandchildren, Terrance, Eugene, Arilea, Alison, Nathan, Jason, Tony, Mel, Jill, Aalyiah. A service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2018, at the Amico Funeral Home, 150 S. Main St., Gloversville.
