Lyndon "Fritz" Fitzgerald Cramer Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Lyndon “Fritz” Fitzgerald Cramer, 58, of Palentine Bridge, passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 9, 2022. Born in Fonda, New York, Lyndon was the son of Gerald Cramer and Carol Darling Cramer. He was proceeded in death by his sister, Lisa, who passed at birth in 1967. He's survived by his parents, Gerald Cramer of Amsterdam, New York, and Carol Cramer of Vails Mills, New York, his four children, Kacie Thomas (Cramer) of Jesup, Georgia, James (Kiersten) Cramer of Gloversville, New York, Matthew Cramer of Gloversville, New York, and Ashlyn Cramer of Jesup, Georgia. Lyndon also had six grandchildren (Melody, Sawyer, Savannah, Hudson, Arbriahna, and Serenity). He's also survived by his three siblings, Scott Cramer of Gansevoort, New York, Laurie (Bob) Eaton of Galway, New York, and Todd Cramer of Foster, Rhode Island. Lyndon also had many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He never knew a stranger. Lyndon “Fritz” was a 1984 graduate of Fonda-Fultonville High School. Fritz then went on to serve eight years in the United States Navy as an airplane mechanic which included service time during Desert Storm. He also served two and a half years in the United States Army as a helicopter mechanic. Lyndon then returned to his one true love, and she had 18 wheels. Most recently, he was employed by Carol’s Transportation. He loved his work and colleagues, and they loved him too. The family will be forever grateful for the love and support Carol’s has shown over the years. Fritz also enjoyed his downtime and working around “The Farm”. He was an avid gun collector, outdoorsman, and regularly participated in “wind therapy”, by riding his motorcycle like he lived his life- recklessly. He could fix anything with bubble gum and duct tape when his tools just wouldn’t do. Fritz had a charming, witty personality and a boisterous laugh that would make anyone smile. He had good intentions and a generous heart. He would give you the shirt off his back, without hesitation, and everyone was family. Family and friends are then invited to join us in a celebration of life. Per the request of Fritz, the family will host a potluck style gathering at Petoff Gardens Estate 305 County Highway 155, Gloversville NY 12078, from 2:30pm-5:00pm.
